CS 174 Project Progress Self-Appraisal Form

INSTRUCTIONS

The Self-Appraisal is the project members’ own assessment of his or her contribution for their CS174 project. Together with the confidential peer review, these will be used to determine your individual contribution portion and may result in differential project grade in CS174 (40% of your overall grade). The Self-Appraisal allows you to tell, in your own words, about the work you’ve done.

In preparing the self-appraisal, the team member should complete all sections. Upon completion, provide your team members with a copy of the Self-Appraisal, and schedule a time with him or her to discuss it together. All Self-Appraisals are due on the same due data as each milestone and should be FTP to your assigned FTP account. This should also be posted to the team homepage under documents. Remove all examples and fill in your own in each cell of the table below.

I also implemented a nickname search for the project.

I did a little documentation but not a substantial amount. I plan to document for the final submission for Milestone 3.

YOUR COMMENTS: Provide any other information relevant to your review (e. g. wish list from team members, found it hard to work with group/found it exciting to work with the group and why – whatever.

Individually, we were able to create the files needed to make to project functional. However, our group suffered from a lack of communication. Our schedules were all just different that it was very difficult to keep track of who is doing what. When it came down to crunch time, our group was able to pull through and submit a finished project. I am proud of the group for being able to finish the project on time despite some of the frustration that arose from the lack of communication amongst the group.
